JOB DESCRIPTION:
CONTRACTOR – PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR

The key word to this position is Contractor.

Contract counselors must have effective and satisfactory experience in the following areas: intakes, assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning and evaluating treatment plans every ninety (90) days, family, group and individual counseling, outreach and consultation with other professionals.  Contract counselors must also have good organizational skills the ability to complete paperwork in a timely manner, follow contract guidelines for meeting clients, and set professional boundaries.  Contractors must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals receiving services, families, other contractors and other entities in a professional manner that will uphold and maintain the good standing of Track House Life.

Because this is a Contractor position the above skills are mandatory and contractors are expected to conduct this position as their own business. Should you need help with a situation we will be available please do not allow yourself to become overwhelmed with any case or situation just ask we are available.

We will not micro manage our contractors. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Masters or Doctorate degree in a behavioral science with emphasis on counseling from an accredited college or university is required.  Degree must include a minimum of forty-eight (48) semester credit hours.  The contract counselor must provide proof of their degree, and transcripts must be submitted for review.
  • Counselors must be eligible for counseling certification by the Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
  • Must have your own reliable transportation
