Positions working with persons with Developmental Disabilities (DD)
- Behavioral Health Technicians: Full/Part Time Positions Available
The BHT provides coordination of care for clients. Coordination of care can be including the group home setting and or THL Behavioral Health service department. To assists with the integration of each Service plan and or behavior management plan. BHT’s support clients by providing hope encouragement, support, self-determination, and connection to the community. Additionally, BHTs provide recovery coaching and crisis support services. Our BHTs are trained to handle critical situations that may require crisis interventions and basic first aid on an as needed basis. Our BHT must be able to document according to agency, contractual and regulatory guidelines. BHT transport clients needing assistance in accessing community resources and supports, attending medical appointments and obtaining medications, as needed. Our BHTs act as an advocate for the needs and rights of every client being served.
- Direct Care Worker: for persons with Developmental Disabilities
Assist in the planning and monitoring of daily activities in the group home. Provide continual monitoring of program participants as well as assisting with ADL’s Assist Program director in developing case plans and counseling strategies designed to assist participants in attaining base line functioning and emotional well-being. Providing support according to each participants needs.
- Family Specialist/Therapist:
Looking for a talented candidate that will be able to identify important issues related to the family’s development. Candidate will be able conduct a family evaluation with tools. Candidate will also be able to come up with strategies to allow for a families continued growth and locate appropriate recourses to help support the family’s needs. A Family Specialist should be able to solve problems quickly and effectively using excellent critical thinking skills
